The Franklin Township 13-15 year-old Parkland League team recently earned a special award. Under the leadership of long-time head coach Ron Steigerwalt, Franklin Township was recognized by their peers as exhibiting the best sportsmanship in the league thus winning the inaugural Sportsmanship Award. The team was the only one in the league representing Carbon County, and were honored for playing with great integrity, respect, and character.
