Historic run for Franklin

Franklin Township’s 10U Division 1 softball team capped a historic season by finishing as runner-up in the Eastern Pennsylvania Girls Softball League championship. Franklin Township advanced to the title game by avenging its lone regular-season loss to Lower Mac Impact with a 12-2 semifinal victory before falling to Northampton, 8-6, in the championship game. The team finished 12-3 overall and became the first Division 1 Franklin Township softball team to reach the league championship game.
