The Summit Hill Borough Council last night elected a five-man zoning and planning commission.

Council named Richard Branch to serve a five-year term; Vernon Garrett, four years; Howard Whildin, three years; Peter R. Gardiner, two years; and Andrew Zulick, one year.

Named to the committee representing Summit Hill at a joint meeting tomorrow in Coaldale with Lansford and Coaldale councils to discuss a possible joint sewage disposal plant were Robert Stoudt, council president; councilman Michael Leonzi; and attorney Albert Leonzi, solicitor. Grant Neifert was named the committee’s alternate.

The council also accepted the resignation of Grace Oldt as borough and school district auditor.
