June 18, 1987 — Darin DeLong combines on a no-hitter to help Coplay gain a 19-2 Lehigh Valley Legion victory over Palmerton. DeLong, a Northern Lehigh product, tosses the first two innings and allows no hits while striking out three. Teammate Jason Yakubecek relieves and pitches three no-hit frames and fans eight. DeLong also has a huge game offensively for the winners, who score 10 times in the opening inning. The Bulldog collects three hits and knocks in four runs. Coplay’s Marc Rapchak also ends with three hits.
