Francis Serina was elected grand knight of the Archbishop Ryan Council, Knights of Columbus, during a meeting held in St. John’s Greek Catholic Church, Lansford.

He will be joined by the following fellow officers: John Simcik, deputy grand knight; Albert Coury, chancellor; John Court\y, recording secretary; Peter Slog, treasurer; Michael Yusko, inner guard; Steve Setar, outer guard; Rev. Michael Morris, chaplain; Atty. William Quinn, advocate; Francis Smell, trustee; and Fulvie Ranalli, warden.

Serina and Simcik was named delegates to the state convention and Joseph Pietruch and Ranalli will be alternates.

Joseph Oriel was appointed financial secretary and George Demetriades was named lector.
