State Rep. Keith R. McCall (D-Carbon) announced Lausanne Township has been awarded a $2,400 sewage enforcement grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
The grant will be used to reimburse half of the township’s eligible expenses during its performance of sewage enforcement activities required by the state.
“The grant money will help the township defray some of the costs involved in the monitoring and regulation of the area’s sewage system to ensure that it meets environmental standards and protects the health and safety of residents,” McCall said.
