Three area Lehigh Valley Junior Connie Mack teams posted wins on Thursday.

Earning victories were Franklin Township, Palmerton and Northern Valley.

N. Bethlehem-Franklin

Franklin Township jumped out to a commanding lead and then rolled to its seventh straight victory, an 11-1 win over North Bethlehem.

FT registered eight runs in the second, helped by three errors, to gain a 9-0 advantage.

Carter Spotts drove in a pair of runs, and Brian Mriss had two hits for Franklin Township.

Owen Moyer and Myles Meek combined on a four-hitter.

Palmerton-Jim Thorpe

Palmerton pushed across nine runs over the first two innings, and the Blue Bombers blasted Jim Thorpe 18-2 to snap an eight-game losing streak.

Cade Serfass went 3-for-4, while Walter Haas and Dillon Welsh both drove in three runs.

Welsh and Zack Zelinsky both notched two hits, while Welsh stole three of their eight bases.

Jionni Puddu rapped two hits for Jim Thorpe, which dropped its ninth straight. The Olympians committed seven errors.

Mason Malosh went 3-for-3, and Connor Hausman had two hits and three RBIs to help pace Northern Valley to a 7-1 victory over East Stroudsburg.

Northern Valley staked itself to a 4-0 lead after the first inning, and the Chargers led 7-0 after four frames.

Calvin Kulp added two hits, two RBIs and swiped four of the Chargers’ 11 stolen bases.

Ryan Ebeling hurled a five-hitter with four strikeouts.

Eastburg suffered its sixth straight defeat.

Frackville-Tamaqua

Frackville Blue used a big fifth inning to help pull away from Tamaqua for a 10-3 victory.

Lucas Hannon and Nico Capone both had RBI singles during the fifth that extended a narrow 3-2 lead to a seven-run advantage. The winners also benefited from four bases-loaded walks in the inning.

Hannon and Capone both collected three hits.

For Tamaqua, Jeffrey Oakes finished with a single, a double, a run and an RBI. Jayden Rex also chipped in with two hits, while Ryder Holmberg and Gavin Shannon both added a double.

Freemansburg-Birches

Austin Czipoth pitched five scoreless innings to lead Freemansburg to a 9-1 victory over the Birches.

Czipoth allowed just three hits and no walks while striking out five.

Ryan Kullman had two hits, a run and an RBI for the winners, who jumped out to an early lead with three runs in the first inning.

The Birches received a pair of hits and an RBI from Ty Borger, while Braydon Green and Sam Deemer accounted for the team’s other hits.
