Local roundup: Results from June 10
Grant Birnbaum and Logan Bellis each drove in two runs as Franklin Township raced to an early lead and held on for a Senior Connie Mack victory over Nazareth Wednesday.

Franklin Township built an early lead and held off a late Nazareth rally to earn a 9-6 victory.
Franklin Township raced out to an 8-0 advantage after two innings, and led 9-2 through four before Nazareth chipped away with two runs in the fifth and two more in the seventh.
Grant Birnbaum and Logan Bellis both drove in two runs for Franklin Township, while Bellis and Brayen Ulshafer added two hits apiece. Birnbaum, Jake Albert and Cash White each stole two bases as Franklin Township swiped seven overall.
Franklin Township also drew 11 walks.

Mason Brown delivered a two-run triple to cap a six-run fourth inning as Hellertown rolled to an 11-2 victory over Northern Valley.
Nicholas Werkheiser collected three hits, while Nick Dries drove in four runs for Hellertown.
Brandon Gonzalez and Tanner Fronina both had two hits for Northern Valley, which saw its two-game winning streak come to an end.

Palmerton-E. Stroudsburg
East Stroudsburg seized control with a six-run second inning and went on to an 11-1 victory over winless Palmerton.
Palmerton grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first when Robbie George doubled home a run. George finished with one of the Bombers’ two hits, while Hunter Vasquez had the other.
Carmelo Martinek highlighted East Stroudsburg’s six-run second with a two-run double, while Orion Tucker added a two-run single. Noah Whitney, Alex Persaud and Connor Cunningham each drove in two runs, while Whitney, Bryce Ridner and Tucker each collected two hits apiece.
East Stroudsburg also stole six bases.

The Wanderers erupted for seven runs in the fifth inning and cruised to a 10-0 victory over Birches in Northampton County Legion action.
Christian Hackett went 3-for-3 with three RBIs for the Wanderers. Andrew Erfle limited Birches to two hits while striking out five.
