On June 13 from 4 to 6 p.m., William Huber, author of “Charles Schwab, President of Carnegie Steel, U.S. Steel and Bethlehem Steel,” will be giving a talk at Weatherly Area High School.

The book, published in 2024, is one of the most thorough biographies of an Industrial Titan ever published, and our community of Weatherly had a hand in it.

From Eurana Dinkey, to Blakeslee Dam, the greatest gift Weatherly has ever received, the Mrs. C M Schwab School, and of course, the portrait which still graces the entrance in the current Weatherly Area High School.

Huber will be there to share his experiences in writing the book, as well as give a glimpse into the lives of Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Schwab. He will also be prepared to take questions and sign books.
