Members of the World War II Last Man’s Club held their 43rd annual banquet at the J. Wesley Garland-Manak-Boyle-Zonca-Whitehead American Legion Post 123, Lansford.

The club members offered a solemn toast to their departed comrades, Joseph Modrick, Joseph Pavlick, William T. Richards and Steve Valent.

Outgoing president Joseph Olexy performed the duty of breaking a f

glass for each of the departed members.

Officers elected for the next year include Sam Lesko, president, Frank Priggins, vice president, George B. Richards, chaplain, and Elizabeth Hruska, secretary-treasurer.

Leonard Kovatch is the Post 123 commander.
