Vouchers available to eligible seniors

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Senior Farmers Market Program will be offered again this year to eligible Carbon County senior citizens.

Each person will get vouchers totaling $25 to spend on Pennsylvania grown produce at any farmers market or farm stand that participates in the program.

To be eligible you must be a Carbon County resident age 60 or older by Dec. 31, 2026, and meet the household income guidelines.

Total gross annual income must be at or below $29,526 for one person and $40,034 for a two-person household. A couple is entitled to $25 each.

Vouchers will not be mailed to anyone; they will be distributed in-person during the scheduled dates, locations and times. There will be no applications to complete before pick up. Show your photo ID and sign for your vouchers.

If picking up for a spouse or someone else, complete a proxy form and bring it to the distribution site.

Proxy forms are available at all senior centers and the Carbon County Area Agency on Aging.
