Lehighton Parks and Recreation has released its Free Summer Concert Series for 2026.
This year, they are bringing in both local and national bands to their Free Summer Concert Series in the amphitheater located behind borough hall, at 1 Constitution Ave., Lehighton.
The first band is Richie and the High Street Rockers from 6-9 p.m. June 6 in the downtown amphitheater. They specialize in the golden age of rock, bringing to life vintage tunes from the 1950s and ’60s.
Originally from Pottstown, their star is on the rise, as they are now being flown all over the country to perform. For a sample of their performances, check them out at www.highstreetrock.com.
The next performance for Free Summer Concert Series will be local favorites, Hatter, from 6-9 p.m. June 20. They are a four-piece band that hails from Tamaqua and are well known throughout the Lehigh Valley and the Coal Region for their powerful vocals and immaculate guitar work.
Performing both cover songs from the ’80s through today and several original pieces that have received a warm reception by radio listeners. For more information, visit https://hattertheband.com.

• The Large Flower Heads, 7-9 p.m. Sept. 26.
