Concourse Club of Palmerton announces Sunday Summer Concert Series
The Bandstand Committee of the Concourse Club of Palmerton announces the start of its Sunday Summer Concert Series.
Opening the series this year will be the Palmerton Band on Sunday, June 7, at 7 p.m. in Palmerton Borough Park.
The region’s original concert series is celebrating its 38th season in 2026, bringing free concerts to the public each Sunday evening through Aug. 23.
“It is one of the first signs of summer when our concert series lineup is announced,” said new Concourse Club President Stacey Connell. “We are bringing a couple new bands to the Bandstand this year, including the Cramer Brothers and The Trinidad North Steel Drum Company. We are delighted to bring Joey & the T-Birds to the community on Sunday, June 14, as part of the community’s America250 celebration, immediately followed by the town’s fireworks display.
“Should there be inclement weather on the 14th, this concert will be held on Monday, June 15th at 7 p.m.”
The concerts take place at the Bandstand of the Palmerton Borough Park on Sunday evenings, 7-8:30 p.m. in June and July, and 6:30-8 p.m. in August. In the event of inclement weather, the committee reserves the right to cancel any concerts.
Announcements will be made on the Concourse Club Facebook page.
If you should have any further questions, feel free to message the club on Facebook or call 610-826-7279.
Additionally, the Concourse Club will be offering a throwback Thursday night concert series as part of the Palmerton Proud America250 celebration.
The original Bandstand concerts were held on Thursday evenings, and the club is offering patriotic selections for these concerts. The Thursday concert schedule announcement will be made shortly.
