An armed robbery at the Carbon Plaza Mall in Mahoning Township Sunday night remains under investigation.

At around 8:42 p.m., troopers from Pennsylvania State Police, Lehighton barracks were dispatched to the PA Smoke Shop, Blakeslee Boulevard.

Through investigation, it was discovered that a man wearing a blue sweatshirt and black pants along with a camouflaged mask entered the store, brandished a firearm, and fled with U.S. Currency.

PSP Lehighton said this investigation is ongoing, and updated information will be released as to not jeopardize the integrity of the investigation.
