Tamaqua police charged Antonio Lugones, 43, Tamaqua, after he spat in a woman’s face around 7:25 p.m. May 12.

Police said the woman reported that as she attempted to visit a family member at an apartment building on the 100 block of West Rowe Street, she had a verbal argument with Lugones.

Police said Lugones, who lives in one of the apartments, told the woman to leave. When she refused, he spat in her face.

Lugones is facing charges of disorderly conduct and harassment.
