Dear PA-07 Congressional Voters,
As Election Day approaches, many voters are receiving political mailers from outside groups such as “Lead Left PAC” and “Renew Northeast.” These postcards are designed to provoke emotional reactions, create division among Democrats, and discourage thoughtful voter participation.
Voters should remember that these mailers are not official campaign materials from candidates themselves.
They are produced by independent political organizations seeking to influence the outcome of the election through dramatic messaging, misleading claims, and manipulated imagery.
Rather than reacting to political propaganda, voters should take the time to:
• Research candidates independently
• Watch debates and interviews
• Review voting records and policy positions
• Vote based on facts, values, and trusted information sources
The strength of democracy depends on informed voters participating thoughtfully and confidently in the electoral process. Regardless of political preference, we should reject efforts designed primarily to confuse, divide, or discourage voter engagement.
Please remind your friends and family to stay informed and make their voices heard at the ballot box on May 19.
Sincerely,
Michael George
Officer, Carbon County Democratic Executive Board
