Palmerton graduate and Moravian University sophomore Jessica Heydt was honored by the Landmark Conference for her performance at the 2026 Landmark Outdoor Championships.

Heydt was the runner-up in the hammer throw with a mark of 46.62 meters, or 152 feet, 11 inches. Heydt also owns the second best throw this season in the conference with a distance of 49.82 meters, or 163 feet, five inches she recorded on April 24 at the Carol & John Covert Classic.

The former Blue Bomber also competed at the All-Atlantic Region meet, and finished 24th with a mark of 43.42.
