At least one person was injured Thursday afternoon when bitten by a dog in Lansford.

The incident occurred around 1:45 pm. at 216 West Ridge St. The dog was removed from the scene.

The victim was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a nearby trauma center. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
