Center Stage Theatre at the Tamaqua Arts Center will hold a Youth Theatre Workshop, an immersive summer program designed to introduce young performers to the magic of theater and live performance.

The week long workshop is for students entering second to sixth grades, who will explore acting fundamentals, audition techniques, character work and stage presence in a fun and supportive environment.

It runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily from July 6 - 10 and offers students hands on instruction from experienced theater educators. Throughout the week, participants will rehearse scenes, develop performance skills and collaborate with peers as they prepare for a culminating showcase.

The program will conclude with a live performance at 5 p.m. July 10, giving students the opportunity to shine onstage and share their hard work with family, friends and the community.

Registration is open and will close on June 19. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.
