Traci L. Fritz, 60, of Tamaqua, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:29 p.m. April 26 on Route 54 in Rush Township, police said.

State police at the Frackville barracks said that Fritz was transported by personnel from the Ryan Township Emergency & Rescue Squad to the St. Luke’s Miners Campus, Coaldale.

Police said she was driving a 2016 Jeep Cherokee westbound when it veered onto the west shoulder and struck a dirt embankment and large tree.

The Jeep had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Police said Fritz was cited after the crash.
