The Jim Thorpe Area School District Pre-K Counts program will be hosting an open house on Tuesday at the following locations:

• Penn Kidder Campus: 5-6 p.m.

• Jim Thorpe Area High School: 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Families are invited to attend and learn more about everything the Jim Thorpe Pre-K Counts program has to offer.

The Pre-K program is open to children who live in the district and are 3 or 4 years old by Sept. 1, and whose families meet federal income guidelines. Applications will be available at the Open House.

The program is offered at no cost to families who qualify through the Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts grant.
