Salem UCC
Salem United Church of Christ, 330 First St., Weatherly, will be celebrating its 150th anniversary on May 17 with worship at 9:30 a.m. This is also the last day of Sunday school, so the class will be singing during worship.
Keystone Associate Conference Minister, the Rev. Dr. Nora Foust, will be joining the congregation for this special occasion.
Following worship there will be a covered-dish brunch with cake and refreshments in the social hall.
All are welcome.

Weatherly Faith Church
Celebrate Recovery is offered weekly at Weatherly Faith Church, 202 Carbon St., on Thursdays beginning at 6 p.m.
This Christ-based recovery program is not only for addiction, but any of life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Find freedom.

Weatherly American Legion Auxiliary
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 360 in Weatherly will host Poppy Night on May 22 at the post from 6-8 p.m. during Poppy Month in May.
There will be story time by the Poppy Lady, crafts and refreshments, providing a night of fun for both young and old.
The auxiliary also asks the community to join members for “Laps Around the Legion” on May 23 at 9 a.m. at the post.
Pledge sheets are available to help the auxiliary raise money for its veterans projects.
