A 5-year old child drowned in Chestnuthill Township over the weekend.

The Pennsylvania State Police Fern Ridge barracks said that at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Ajani Jermanie Samuels was located deceased in a body of water.

At around 9 a.m. that morning, Samuels left the area of the 100 block of Rose Drive. He was last seen wearing a navy blue long-sleeved polo shirt and gray shorts.

Samuels was nonverbal and autistic, along with being epileptic.

PSP State Police Fern Ridge investigated and actively searched along with an array of emergency responder services for Samuels.
