Carbon County officials will be hosting an open house at the Emergency Operations and Training Center, 88 Public Safety Lane, Nesquehoning, starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The open house includes a presentation followed by a question-and-answer session. Those attending will then be able to do a tour of the training grounds and fire tower.

The event is open to the public, as well as elected officials. The facility is located at the county complex on the Broad Mountain, just east of the prison and communications center.
