A New Tripoli couple is the victim of a forgery/counterfeiting incident reported at 6:14 p.m. March 25 on Allemaengel Road, Lynn Township.

The 55-year-old man and 59-year-old woman told state police at the Fogelsville barracks that a check of theirs for $14,000 had been fraudulently cashed at a bank in St. Paul, Minnesota.
