Lower Towamensing Township supervisors took the following actions recently:

• Approved a waiver request, and granted conditional plan approval, to the Beltzville Enterprises-Palmerton Garage lot consolidation/minor subdivision plan.

• Approved the Ziegenful municipal notification of planned land development DEP form.

• Approved a garbage waiver request for 60 Maple Drive.

• Approved fire police coverage for the Carbon County Fair from Aug. 3-8.

• Approved the mutual aid agreement for plowing with Palmerton.

• Agreed to advertise for road materials and paving bids.
