A Summit Hill mother’s prayers have been answered, as her 23-year-old daughter has been found safe in Florida.
Karen Horvath learned that her daughter, Katrina, who left home last April, has been found safe and is receiving medical care and undergoing a mental health evaluation.
Karen Horvath posted on social media that she was found, thanking law enforcement in Miami and the office of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for responding and helping to bring her to safety.
She also thanked everyone for their prayers and asked for continue prayers for Katrina as she receives treatment and works through the trauma, as she is believed to be a victim of human traffickers.
Karen Horvath spoke to her crying daughter briefly Wednesday, and she told her mom that she loved her.
“She couldn’t talk any more, but that’s all I need to hear,” the relieved mother told the Times News today.
She also thanked everyone who helped in the search posting and sharing information on Katrina, and also for the support and prayers, she said.
