The Board of Directors of the Mauch Chunk Trust Company in Jim Thorpe announced the election of two new members, Luther A. Getz, a resident of the Albrightsville area of Penn Forest Township, and Ray W, Reitz of 2256 Center St., Jim Thorpe.

Their appointments became effective April 1, according to Leonard X. Benick, board president.

Getz has been engaged as a realtor for a number of years, with offices in Lehighton and Albrightsville, and is a former manager of Pleasant Valley Estates, a Kresgeville real estate firm.

Reitz is a farm agent of the Carbon County Agricultural Extension Service and the former chairman of the Carbon County Health and Welfare Council.
