The Carbon County commissioners approved or acknowledged the following personnel items during their meeting last week.

• Prison board appointment: Dawson K. Mccoy of Palmerton, part-time corrections officer, effective April 6.

• Resignations: Lori J. Ahner of Palmerton, part-time corrections officer, effective March 24; Brandon J. Gombert of Beaver Meadows, part-time K-9 officer, effective March 28; Peter R. McGinley of Andreas and Jack H. Tharp of New Ringgold, lifeguards, both effective March 23.

• Hire: Donna M. Auman of Lehighton, human resources assistant, effective April 20.

• Court appointment: Emily Summers of Jim Thorpe, specialist II, domestic relations, effective April 13.

• Court resignation: Charles E. Baker III of Jim Thorpe, IT specialist, effective March 20.

• Employment separation: John-Kyle Hamati-Sayegh of New Tripoli, probation officer I, adult probation, effective March 25.

• Prothonotary appointment: Natalie Weinstein of Lansford, automation/passport processing clerk, effective March 30.
