The Tamaqua Area School District Athletic Department and St. Luke’s Sports Medicine announced that American professional auto racing driver Sage Karam will visit the district’s auditorium at 7 p.m. Monday.

Karam will speak about his journey in auto racing. He competes part time in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, driving the No. 55 Toyota GR Supra for Joey Gase Motorsports with Scott Osteen.

Additionally, he competed full time and part time in the IndyCar Series. He is also a St. Luke’s Community ambassador.

The free event is open to all.
