Monroe County Government

The Monroe County commissioners approved the following items last week:

• Area Agency on Aging — Appointment of Heidi Fareri to the Aging Advisory Council for a term to expire on Dec. 31, 2028.

• Children and Youth Services — Purchase of Service Agreements from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026: Bethany Home Inc. doing business as Bethany Children’s Home, contract limit to $125,000 for independent living services; Community Options Inc., contract limit $500,000 for group home; Metta Place Youth Home LLC, contract limit $200,000 for group home; and submittal of the Budget Amendment Request for the period July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025 for $20,623,693.

• Information Technology and Services — Ratify change order for implementation services with RingCentral to extend and complete project, $12,600; confidentiality agreement with West Law Publishing Corp. doing business as Thompson Reuters, Paperless Solutions Inc. and Monroe County for migration to Paperless Solutions; service agreement with Service Express LLC for the period April 1 to Sept. 30 for IBM AS400 support, $8,812.50; and approve Infrastructure Recovery Proposal with 1111 Systems, $3,939.39.

• Monroe County Transportation Authority — Acknowledgment of receipt of the Financial Statements and Supplemental Information for the period ending Dec. 31, 2025.

• New vendors to the County List of Approved Vendors — Fiscal/Grants: 325 Prospect EFH LLC, Vancamp Properties LLC, Savannah Sanchez, Alison Tiru, Claritzabel Reyes and Rachel Crisante; Aging: Roxann Gardner; Planning: Longstreth Sporting Goods LLC.

• Office of Emergency Services — Defering action on the bid for COOP/COG Plan until the April 15 Commissioners’ meeting.

• Planning Commission — Contract with Michael D. Bilger to conduct Aquatic Macroinvertebrate Laboratory Subsampling, $13,962 for 39 samples; contract with Microbac to conduct the 2026 Water Quality Testing, $15,141.75.
