Marian Catholic appoints director of facilities

Marian Catholic High School announces the appointment of Brian Sebring as its new director of facilities. Sebring began the job on Monday.

He brings a background in facility management, maintenance operations and safety compliance.

Sebring last served as maintenance director at St. Michael the Archangel School in Coopersburg, overseeing multiple school facilities, coordinating repairs and capital improvements, and implementing preventative maintenance programs to ensure safe and efficient operations.

His hands-on experience includes electrical, plumbing, carpentry and building systems.

Sebring holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from DeSales University, and he has demonstrated a consistent commitment to maintaining high-quality, safe and welcoming environments for students and staff.

“Brian’s experience and leadership in facilities management will be a tremendous asset to Marian Catholic,” said the Rev. Robert Finlan, principal. “At the same time, we are deeply grateful to Jim Barron for his many years of dedicated service. Jim’s steady commitment and behind-the-scenes efforts have helped ensure that our school has always been a safe and well-maintained environment. We wish him all the best in a well-deserved retirement.”

Jim Sauka ’66, facilities chairman, also shared his enthusiasm for the transition. “We are excited to welcome Brian to Marian Catholic. His depth of experience and proactive approach to facility operations will help us continue to care for and improve our campus. We also extend our sincere thanks to Jim Barron, whose dedication and hard work over the years have left a lasting impact on our school community.”
