Austin Berger, Fire marshal for Slatington investigates a fire that broke out in a garage Thursday. The incident broke out at 5 p.m. at 320 Union St., Slatington. The fire was contained to the garage, with smoke damage to the attached home. Fire departments on Slatington, Lehigh Township, Emerald, Slatedale, Friedens, Walnutport, and Greenawalts.
