Easter egg hunts, bunny visits

Saturday
• St. John’s Lutheran Church of Mahoning, Easter Egg Hunt, 11 a.m. Saturday. Children ages 0-13 are welcome to join.
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Palmerton Area Chamber of Commerce on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Palmerton Park. Rain date for the egg hunt is Sunday at 2 p.m.
• Hometown Fire Department will host an egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday at Miller Park, for ages 0-12. If weather is bad, event will be at the firehouse.
• Becky’s Drive-In egg hunt, Saturday, gates open at 4 p.m., and the egg hunt begins at 6 p.m.
The rain date for the egg hunt will be April 4.
The egg hunt will be divided into four age groups, with a total of 6,000 eggs. Each child will receive one child’s admission pass to use once during the 2026 season. Lucky eggs contain prize coupons. Admission is charged, but people will receive one admission pass in return, which can be used once in the 2026 season.
The Easter Bunny will be greeting the children and posing for pictures; also trackless train and fire engine rides, moon bounce, balloon sculptor, magic show.
• Egg hunt, by Andreas Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Inc., 208 Memorial Drive, Lehighton, Moo Moo the Mini Highland Cow, basket raffle event, 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Funds from basket raffle tickets and Moo Moo pictures will go to benefit the Family Promise of Carbon County.
• Cornerstone Community Church, 388 Polk Township Road, Kresgeville, annual Easter Egg Hunt, 3-5 p.m. Saturday, with free food, prizes, egg hunt, story walk, and more.
• Summit Hill Recreation Commission annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Ludlow Park gazebo.
The rain date for the egg hunt is April 4.
Sunday
• Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, Palmerton, Easter Egg Hunt ages 1-12 on Sunday at 1 p.m. Everyone welcome. Free hot dogs.
• A sensory Easter Egg Hunt will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday at Chestnuthill Township Park. Registration is required. Rain or shine.
Traditional Easter Egg Hunt will occur on March 29 at 2 p.m. Rain or shine.
April 4
• The Diligent Fire Company No. 3, 330 Center Ave., Jim Thorpe, annual Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. April 4, for children through age 10. Traditional egg hunt with chocolate bunny prizes, and an Easter basket for each child attending. The Easter Bunny will be there, too. The first hunt will begin at 1 p.m.
• Lehighton American Legion Post 314 egg hunt at 2 p.m. April 4, by the fountain in the Lower Park, Lehighton. Ages newborn to 12 welcome. Afterward, go to the Legion at 381 Bridge St., Lehighton, for a visit with the Easter Bunny and more. Call 610-377-0511 to register.
• Walnutport Playground Association Easter Egg Hunt, 1 p.m. April 4 at the Lower Ball Field — Walnutport Playground. This is a free event for infants through age 10. Bring your basket.
• Slatedale Fire Department, 3922 Main St., Slatedale, Easter Bunny breakfast, 7-11 a.m. April 4, at the fire company. Easter Bunny will arrive at 10 a.m. Fee charged. Egg hunt, 1 p.m. April 4, groups based on age, pictures with the Easter Bunny. Bring your own basket.
• Olympian Easter Egg Hunt, Jim Thorpe Touchdown Club, April 4, on the football field, 1 Olympian Way, Jim Thorpe. Hunts at 9:30, 10 and 10:30 a.m. Egg hunts will be separated by age group to keep things fun and fair. All ages welcome. Bring your baskets. Basket and gift card raffles, bake sale with sweet treats, prize eggs for kids. Fee charged to benefit Touchdown Club.
• Egg hunt, Emerald Playground Association and Star Hose Fire Company No. 1, April 4, 1 p.m., 7700 Penn St., Slatington. Free event for community kids up to age 10 on the big field (left side coming up the hill).
