With regard to Mr. Cal Thomas’ opinion article, first, I would ask him to read speeches Trump made to the European countries assembled, as well as a speech delivered by his vice president, also to a European conference, given during the past year.
Both speeches delivered a tacitly hostile emotion (to countries bound to defend us should we be attacked).
Now, after starting a war without conferring with them, he asks for their help?
Secondly, I direct Mr. Thomas to a document we call the Constitution where the Congress has the sole power to start a war.
