Tamaqua Chamber hosts AI program

The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce wants to help educate small businesses on artificial intelligence and how it can be used properly in operations.

During the Carbon County Collaborative meeting last week, Amber Zuber, director of Site Educational Services for LCCC, announced that the college is partnering with the chamber to hold the event on March 24 at its Morgan Center in Tamaqua. The theme is “AI for Small Business: Practical, Ethical and Responsible Use.”

The breakfast seminar will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the presentation beginning at 8 a.m.

Megan Augustine, healthcare education solutions manager at LCCC, will lead the discussion on how AI is shaping business, and what it means for professionals and organizations moving forward.

The seminar is free to chamber members, but there is a small fee for non-members.
