Dr. Dennis J. Bonner, Summit Hill physician, was honored as the 11th Shamrock Award winner during the 24th Annual Banquet of the Panther Valley Irish-American Association held last night in the Elks Home, Lansford.

The banquet program put it very aptly, “Blend together strong positions of leadership, courage, ability, honor, integrity and dedication and you have the ingredients necessary for meriting the prestigious Shamrock Award of the association. Dr. Bonner has all those attributes, and more.”

The doctor has been serving the area for the past 32 years, heeding to thousands of calls, day and night, to tend to the sick and/or injured of the Panther Valley.
