The winners use a 15-1 run during the second quarter to turn a three-point deficit into a 11-point lead. A basket by Emmett McCall, who tallies five points in the game, breaks a tie and puts St. Ann’s ahead for good. The victors, coached by Richie Giantesano, also receive five points from Ronnie Daldos. For St. Joe’s, Gene Yasson ends with a team-high 11 points.
