With the growing emphasis on physical therapy, Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale, has expanded its facilities to meet the need.
Thanks to the addition to approximately 1,800 square feet and $10,000 worth of exercise equipment, Miners’ physical therapy department has taken on a new and improved look.
The newly-revamped facility, located on the ground floor of the medical center, includes a new gym and exercise area for patients needing therapy, and two private therapy rooms for patients requiring more discreet therapy needs.
The facility is managed by Ralph Richards, MSPT, director of Rehabilitation Services at the hospital.
