Pleasant Vy. approves teachers memorandum

The Pleasant Valley School Board approved in an 8 to 1 vote a Memorandum of Understanding between the Pleasant Valley School District and Pleasant Valley Education Association, which is the teachers’ union.

School Board Director Ryan O’Keefe voted no. Just prior to the vote, O’Keefe said he opposed it and, “I think it is ridiculous.”

Nothing else was said about the memorandum, and the document was not made public.
