One person was injured Thursday afternoon in a crash in the village of Tuscarora. The incident occurred just after 3 p.m. in the intersection of Route 209 and Catawissa Road involving two vehicles. After impact both vehicles came to rest on a private lot in the southwest corner of the intersection. Responding were the Tuscarora fire company and the Tamaqua rescue squad. The victim was treated at the scene by members of the Tamaqua ambulance before being transported to a nearby trauma center. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
