The state Department of Transportation will be collecting traffic data on municipality-owned roads, Weatherly Borough announced Tuesday.

National Data and Surveying Services Inc. is the contractor performing the traffic counts, which will be used to make decisions on safety, design and operation of roads.

Local traffic counts will be done on these borough roads from March 2 to Nov. 19: Dunnigan Lane between High Street and Monroe Street; Kline Street between State Route 4010 and Doney Run; Third Street between Carbon and Packer streets; and Younker Avenue between State Route 4006 and Rebar Street.
