The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released its Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week.
Kutztown’s Michael Fellin, a graduate of Marian, earned Track Athlete of the Week honors.
Fellin set a new school record in the 55-meter dash, as KU hosted the Golden Bear Invitational. Fellin ran the second-fastest time in school history with a 6.33 in prelims before breaking Keith Crowell’s 2000 school record of 6.32, with a 6.31 in the finals to win the event.
The meet marked Fellin’s final tune-up before he looks to defend his 60m title at the PSAC Indoor Championships.
The former Colt standout currently ranks second in the PSAC, and 21st in NCAA Division 2 with a season-best 6.74.
