The Palmerton Cat Project will hold a gift card bingo and basket raffle on April 12 at the Aquashicola Volunteer Fire Company.

Doors open at 10 a.m. Games start at noon.

The cost is $25 for advanced tickets, $30 at the door.

Stacy Goldberg, vice president for the Palmerton Cat Project, said, “This bingo event is one of the biggest events we rely on to raise money to help defer the cost of medical expenses, food, litter, and spaying and neutering of cats and kittens in the Palmerton (Area) School District,” Goldberg said. “Anybody who attends our bingo and brings an item off our wish list will be entered into a drawing for a special prize.”

Goldberg said wish list items include Purina cat chow, Purina kitten chow, canned cat food, paper towels, garbage bags, Lysol wipes, receiving blankets, and small litter boxes.

She said there will be a small and large basket raffle bake sale, Palmerton Cat Project merchandise on sale, and the kitchen will be open. There is no outside food to be brought in.

Sleepy Cat Urban Winery also will be set up at the event.
