State police at Bethlehem - crashes

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following crashes:

• A 42-year-old Slatington man was arrested for driving while his license is suspended after police responded to a crash at 12:26 p.m. Feb. 13 on Route 309 in North Whitehall Township.

Police did not provide details of the crash but said it involved a 2009 Audi and that the man’s license is under suspension for the third time for driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.

• Cesar Polanco Alcantara, 23, of Whitehall, was injured after a three-vehicle crash at 10:59 a.m. Feb. 9 at the intersection of Route 309 and Education Park Drive, North Whitehall Township.

Police said he was transported by personnel from the Northern Valley ambulance to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Campus, Salisbury Township.

Police did not provide details of the crash but said it involved vehicles driven by Cassandra H. Snyder, 27, of Slatington, Alexis T. Hahn, 24, of Walnutport, and Polanco Alcantara.

Snyder and Hahn were uninjured, police said.

• Police responded to a hit-and-run that occurred at 5 p.m. Feb. 16 in the parking lot of Nevulis Beverage, Route 309, North Whitehall Township.

Police said that Gabrielle L. Finkbeiner, 30, of Allentown, was driving a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country minivan that struck the tow dolly of a 2021 Chevrolet Equinox, whose operator was a Slatington man, and then left the scene.

They said the minivan had functional rear-end damage, while the tow dolly had minor damage.

Finkbeiner was cited for the hit-and-run incident, police said.
