Carbon Chamber announces spring schedule
The Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is welcoming the spring season with a dynamic series of events designed to connect businesses, community leaders, and residents through workforce engagement, policy discussion, and professional development opportunities.
The upcoming spring schedule highlights several signature programs that reflect the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to strengthening Carbon County’s business environment and regional economy.
On March 26 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., the CCEDC will host its “Employee Appreciation Luncheon” at Nick’s Lake House in Lake Harmony, a celebration recognizing the employees who drive success across Carbon County businesses and organizations. The event provides employers an opportunity to honor their teams while fostering cross-industry connections.
On April 9 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., the CCEDC will partner with Carbon PA CareerLink® to present a Career Fair at the Carbon Plaza Mall, connecting job seekers with local employers and workforce partners while supporting regional talent pipelines and hiring efforts. This event is the first of a two-part series, with a second event scheduled for Aug. 20 at Carbon PA CareerLink®.
Later this spring, on April 28 from 8-11 a.m., the CCEDC will host its highly anticipated “Legislative Update: What to Look For in 2026” at Blue Mountain Resort, featuring state and county officials discussing policy issues, economic priorities, and topics impacting the local business community. The program will include a moderated discussion and audience Q&A.
“The spring season always brings renewed energy and opportunity for our business community,” said Kylie Adams-Weiss, Senior Vice President of the Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation. “These events are designed to create meaningful connections — whether between employers and talent, businesses and policymakers, or organizations and new partners. We are excited to bring together leaders from across the region to engage in conversations and initiatives that support economic growth and community vitality.”
