State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 30-year-old man from Jim Thorpe is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 1 a.m. Jan. 12.

He was stopped in a 2003 Acura for multiple Motor Vehicle Code violations on North Cedar Crest Boulevard, South Whitehall Township.

• A 34-year-old Slatington woman was cited for retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to the Walmart Supercenter, Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, at 3:39 p.m. Feb. 8.

Police said she was caught stealing 21 items valued at $293.69.
