The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the following upcoming events:

Valentine’s Party on Feb. 13 at 10:30 a.m. Center Closed on Feb. 16; Bingo on Feb. 17 at 10:45 a.m.; Skeeball on Feb. 18 at 11 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Feb. 19 at 10:45 a.m.; Scattergories on Feb. 20 at 11 a.m.

Cards, pool, games available daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Nesquehoning Hose Company

The Nesquehoning Hose Company will hold its first Lenten food sale from 4-6 p.m. on Feb. 20.

The fire company is selling creamy potato soup and drop dough haluski by the pint or quart, as well as small orders of four pierogies per order.

The fire company will also be selling tickets for its Cabin Fever Basket Auction on March 1. Call the numbers above for pre-sale tickets.

Donations for the auction are also now being accepted.
