The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the following upcoming events:

Skeeball on Jan. 30 at 11 a.m.

Speaker with St Luke’s Physical Therapy on Feb. 2 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Feb. 3 at 10:45; Po-Keeno on February 4 at 11 a.m.; Medicare Seminar with Refreshments on Feb. 5 at 11 a.m., preregistration is required; Valentine Craft on Feb. 6 at 10 a.m.

Cards, Pool, Games, available daily from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Hometown Hero banners

Applications for the 2026 Nesquehoning Veterans Banner program are still open.

If you would like to purchase a new banner, applications are available by calling one of the contacts below. Deadline to purchase a new banner is Feb. 5.

If you purchased a banner to be displayed in 2023, 2024, and 2025, deadline for renewals is Jan. 30.

MapleShade Meadows

MapleShade Meadows Assisted Living in Nesquehoning will be hosting its annual Valentine’s Day Dance for the residents.

The organization is seeking donations for women’s dresses and men’s dress attire. Deadline for donations is Feb. 1.
