The Heart Care Group, P.C., hosted a community grand opening to celebrate the opening of its newest cardiology office in the Lehighton area.

The new office is located at 858 Interchange Road, Franklin Township, across the street from the Hampton Inn.

Volunteers had the opportunity to meet Larry Deal, executive director of the group; Maryann Ziegenfuss, medical assistant; Ruth Ann Gershufsky, office manager; Lori Neri, CRPN; Debra McGeehin, nurse practitioner; and Cheryl Hirko, who will assist with appointments, evaluations, pacemaker checks and diagnostic testing.

The office features access to 22 doctors within the Heart Group.
